Objective

The first and foremost objective of the organization is to ensure quality service through accreditation by concerned bodies like NABL, NABH, ISO etc.

Second objective is to evolve and establish a “code of practices” that will help to create an atmosphere of uniformity and solidarity among the members of the organization throughout the state. With the number of hands having risen phenomenally, the entrepreneurs seem to take us for granted. Our collective promise to quality in service, once we get our institutions accredited by authentic bodies, will naturally make us confident and competent to claim emoluments that we really deserve, thanks to our specialized education and service. Similarly the terms and conditions, professional security and human rights protection are also some of the imperatives to be ascertained in the fields.
The Association promotes the study of Medical Microbiology and Medical Biochemistry throughout the state and facilitates the interaction between Microbiologists and Biochemists. The organization also seeks to appeal to the concerned authorities to make it mandatory for the students of clinical microbiology and clinical biochemistry to undergo compulsory internships in training centres approved by ACMB.
